Plans for ages 4 to 9. Each one follows Alison Gilham’s Operation Thank You missions: a short practice, a spoken line, and a thank-you note.

The manual is 98 pages. The first half is Monday through Friday for groups that meet daily. The second half is once a week for dens, Sunday school, clubs, and co-ops. Missions last 5 to 10 minutes. Children use the activity book Why and How To Say “Thank You,” and the group can look at the 30-card flashcard set before anyone writes.
Start with a grade if you know the age. Start with a practice situation if you need one concrete kindness. The guides below cover gratitude activities for kids, teaching thank you, writing notes with kid examples, worksheets, classroom missions, and sponsoring a class.
Whether you're a parent, teacher, organization, business, or individual looking to make a difference, there's a place for you in the Culture of Thank You.
Let's help the next generation learn to recognize kindness, appreciate others,
and say “Thank You” with meaning.
